Let’s make this clear right up front - Up to Us is not about sides, we are about solutions. Your vote is your voice -- and how you vote is up to you. All we ask is that you are prepared, which means knowing if you’re registered, getting educated about your ballot, and making a plan to vote.
We get it and we are here for you because at Up to Us we know it’s up to you to vote for the future you want to see.
Here are actionable steps you can take right now to get prepared to vote!
Step 1: Check your Voter Status
Every state, except North Dakota, requires you to register to vote. Depending on your state, the registration deadline could be as much as a month before an election. Remember that as a voter, you have a civic duty to understand and vote for the people and initiatives that align with your values.
We have an easy tool to check your voter registration status and ensure you are ready to vote by Election Day on November 3rd:

Step 2: Understand your power as a young voter
Now that you know you’re ready to vote, take a moment to realize why it’s so important that you do so.
Did you know that young Americans have consistently low voter turnout?

This year can be different. It starts with you! By turning out to vote, you are showing that our generation will have a say in the future of our country. Does this inspire you to make a promise to yourself to vote? All it takes is little preparation to give you the confidence to vote how you want and for what you believe in.
Step 3: Check your state to understand your voting options.
Now let’s discuss your options to cast your vote:
Young people in this country are passionate, smart, resourceful, and care about your future. You represent the future and your vote is your voice!
